Day 1: Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City
Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, you will be picked up at Tan Son Nhat International Airport (flight details to be advised) and transferred to the hotel for check-in. Free time at leisure.
Included today: Private airport pick-up and overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Cu Chi Tunnels Half-Day Tour
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning: You will be transferred to the Cu Chi Tunnels. Along the way, enjoy views of rice paddies and pottery kilns. Visit the underground village, which served as a fierce battlefield for a long time during the Vietnam War. The over-200-kilometer tunnel system will give you a vivid impression of the brutal warfare of the past in southern Vietnam.
Return to Ho Chi Minh City at around 14:30 and drop off at the hotel. Free time for shopping in the afternoon. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Included today: Buffet breakfast, half-day Cu Chi Tunnels tour, entrance fees, tour guide, and overnight stay at the hotel with buffet breakfast.
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City – My Tho / Mekong Delta Full-Day Tour
07:45: The tour guide will pick you up at the hotel, then travel to My Tho city by bus. During the 2-hour bus ride to My Tho, you will have the opportunity to observe local activities along the way and enjoy the stunning scenery of lush green rice fields. We will stop at Ben Luc in Long An Province to visit a Cao Dai temple – a unique religion of Vietnam, take photos, and listen to the tour guide explain the temple’s architecture and Cao Dai religious philosophy.
Continue to My Tho, where we will take a boat trip along the Mekong River by motorboat. During the boat ride, you will have the chance to see fish cages, floating houses, and daily river activities.
The boat will take you to Xip canal, where you can completely escape the city’s hustle and bustle. A coconut canal boat ride will bring you to a small island. We disembark and take a stroll around the village. Stop at a local family’s home to enjoy tropical fruits, taste honey tea and honey wine, and listen to traditional Vietnamese music performed by the villagers.
Continue walking along the village path and take a horse-drawn carriage ride along the country road. Switch to a rowing boat through a small canal to rejoin the motorboat, then head to a restaurant on another small island.
Lunch will be served featuring Mekong Delta specialties, including elephant ear fish.
Afternoon: Return to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Included today: Full-day Mekong Delta tour, entrance fees, boat trips, lunch, tour guide, and overnight stay at the hotel with buffet breakfast.
Day 4: Departure from Ho Chi Minh City / Farewell Vietnam
Breakfast at the hotel.
Free time to relax until your private transfer to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your departure flight (flight details to be advised). Head back home.
Included today: Breakfast at the hotel and private airport drop-off transfer.
