History

Morning: Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Tam Coc Boat Trip

We will pick you up at your Hanoi hotel and depart for Ninh Binh Province. During the 2.5-hour journey, you can relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Vietnamese villages and lush green agricultural fields.

Upon arrival, you will board a bamboo boat – rowed by skilled local craftsmen – for a 2-hour journey along the Ngo Dong River. You will gently glide through sprawling rice fields and beneath majestic limestone mountains. Along the way, the boat will pass through Tam Coc: Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba. These geological formations offer a cool, refreshing escape from the scorching heat and provide views of the geological wonders.

Afternoon: Reaching the local destination

Take a break and enjoy a delicious lunch with Ninh Binh Province specialties at a local restaurant.

Afternoon: Thung Nham Ecotourism Area & Bird Valley

After lunch, continue the journey to Thung Nham Ecotourism Zone, home to the largest natural bird sanctuary in Northern Vietnam. Get ready to enjoy a campfire amidst the pristine beauty of this valley, which features a unique system of both dry and wet caves.

We will travel by specialized boat from the pier to Bird Valley. As dusk falls, you will witness a spectacular natural sight: over 4,000 birds representing 40 different species returning to the wetlands for the evening. This is the perfect opportunity to capture professional wildlife photographs and fully immerse yourself in the wild.

After exploring Thung Nham, we will take a relaxing bus ride back to Hanoi, and in the evening, we will drop you off at your hotel.
