Begin your day with a hotel pick-up and transfer to the historic Ba Dinh Complex, the political and cultural heart of Vietnam. Visit Ba Dinh Square, where President Ho Chi Minh proclaimed the Independence of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam on 2 September 1945.
Continue to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside visit when closed) and the iconic One Pillar Pagoda, one of Hanoi’s most treasured landmarks. Originally built in 1049 during the reign of Emperor Ly Thai Tong, the pagoda is uniquely supported by a single stone pillar, symbolising a lotus blossom rising gracefully from the water.
Your journey then takes you to the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam), Vietnam’s first national university, founded in 1070. This remarkable complex offers a fascinating insight into the country’s long-standing tradition of education and Confucian scholarship.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to Hoan Kiem Lake, the spiritual heart of Hanoi. Explore Ngoc Son Temple, situated on Jade Island and connected by the iconic The Huc Bridge, famous for its striking red colour. Along the way, admire But Tower (Pen Tower) and Dai Nghien (Ink Slab), two symbolic monuments representing Vietnam’s scholarly heritage.
Experience the charm of Hanoi’s Old Quarter with a traditional cyclo ride through its famous 36 Ancient Streets, where centuries-old architecture, bustling markets and local daily life create an unforgettable atmosphere.
Conclude your day with a captivating Water Puppet Show, a unique Vietnamese performing art dating back over a thousand years. This traditional performance, accompanied by live folk music, offers an authentic glimpse into Vietnam’s rich cultural heritage.

- Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Mondays, Fridays, and annually from October to November for maintenance. During these periods, the visit will be limited to the exterior of the Mausoleum.
- Cancellation & Amendment Policy :More than 15 days before departure: 50% of the total tour price will be charged. Within 15 days of departure, or in case of a no-show: 100% of the total tour price will be charged.
- Child Policy Children under 5 years old: Free of charge. Children from 5 to under 10 years old: 50% discount on the tour price. Children aged 10 years and above: Charged at the adult rate.
