08:00 AM – Our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi and depart for Duong Lam Ancient Village, located to the west of the capital. Known as one of the best-preserved traditional villages in Northern Vietnam, Duong Lam offers an authentic glimpse into the rural lifestyle of the Red River Delta, where centuries-old laterite houses and ancient customs have been carefully preserved.
Stroll through the village’s narrow winding lanes and visit Mong Phu Communal House, the cultural heart of the village and the only hamlet in Duong Lam that still retains its original ancient entrance gate. Here, you’ll learn about the village’s rich history and traditions while admiring its distinctive architecture.
Continue your journey by visiting the beautifully preserved ancient homes of local families, including those of Mr. Lam, Mr. Ha, and Mr. Huyen. Enjoy warm conversations with the homeowners and gain a deeper understanding of their daily life, customs, and heritage.
A traditional Vietnamese lunch will be served in one of the village’s historic houses, offering a memorable dining experience in an authentic local setting.
In the afternoon, visit Ngo Quyen Temple and Phung Hung Temple, dedicated to two of Vietnam’s most celebrated national heroes, whose victories played an important role in the country’s history.
After the tour, return to Hanoi. Arrival at your hotel is expected at approximately 5:00 PM.
